Today, after 11 days of Diwali, Uttarakhand is celebrating Egaas. Today, in our homes puuris and pakoris are made. It is believed that when lord Rama returned to his homeland with his wife Sita and his brother Laxman, Diwali was celebrated for the first time in Ayodhya. After 11 days, the news of his homecoming came to Uttrakhand and the people celebrated Diwali on this day.  So...  Happy Egass to all.  May god fulfill all your wishes. 

In the year 2020, 1st festival that was celebrated by all the Indians was Diwali itself. Diwali itself is a series of  5 festivals one after the other.
