In Garhwal, ACHRI'S are the fairies which fulfill the dreams of people.There is a great significance of ACHRI'S in Garhwal.The Jagars of chait (March-April) are especially Achri jagars in some parts of garhwal. The Achri Jagar by AMIT SAGAR{CHAIT KI CHAITWAL,originally sung by CHANDER SINGH RAHI}is one of the trending Achri Jagar.


Another famous lok gayika of Uttrakhand is HEMA NEGI KARASI,who is also a jagariya.

KAAFAL KAFAAL Kaafal is one of the extreme delicious fruit found in uttarakhand. Scientific name is Myrica Esculenta. It is not very juicy citrus fruit but the taste of this fruit is amazing with tangy sweet and sour pleasure. Uttrakhand is a state whose culture is very diverse and colourful.The ritual of celebrating the festival hasbeen going on for centuries in the state.One of the festivals that cherish and brings back the culture of Uttrakhand is 'EGAAS BAGWAL'.
