Basant Panchmi

The festival of Basant Panchmi celebrates the coming of spring season. This festival signals the end of winters, generally celebrated during Magh(January- February ).

During this festival, people worship goddess Saraswati, use yellow handkerchiefs or even yellow clothes and in a few places people put a yellow tilak on their foreheads.

KAAFAL KAFAAL Kaafal is one of the extreme delicious fruit found in uttarakhand. Scientific name is Myrica Esculenta. It is not very juicy citrus fruit but the taste of this fruit is amazing with tangy sweet and sour pleasure.
